Vawdon Cup Players 2025 - Expression Of Interest
Vawdon Cup is a weekly competition conducted throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area catering for Open & Youth divisions. Games are typically played on Friday evenings, with some Sunday fixtures across the competition. Games are predominantly played at Tempe, Milperra, Parramatta and Penrith.

The current Vawdon Cup 2025 competition dates are as follows:
  • Match Day 1: Friday, September 12
  • Match Day 2: Friday, September 19
  • Match Day 3: Friday, September 26
  • Match Day 4: Sunday, September 28*
  • Match Day 5: Friday, October 10
  • Semi Final: Friday, October 24
  • Preliminary Final: Sunday, October 26
  • Grand Final: Sunday, November 2
*Match Day 4 confirmed as double header; there may also be double header fixtures on some Friday nights

There are some age restrictions in regards eligibility to certain teams, as follows:
  • Men’s & Women's Open teams, which includes Premier League & Divisions 1 - 4 ~ Minimum age is 15 years old; must be born in 2010 or before
  • Boy’s & Girl's Youth League teams ~ Aged between 13 and 17 years old; must be born between 2008 and 2012 

All players wishing to trial for a Manly Touch Vawdon Cup team must be registered in the 2025 Autumn Competition that is currently underway OR have played in the 2024/2025 Senior Summer Competition. Note: Youth players must have registered and played in the 2024 Junior Summer Competition at a minimum.

Training is likely to commence with open sessions for all teams in July 2025.

If you are interested in trialling for a MWTA Vawdon Cup team in 2025, please complete this Expression Of Interest form before 5pm 30th June 2025.

2025 SENIOR STATE CUP:
We have also included a question around consideration of playing at Senior State Cup as we would like to commence planning for this campaign soon after we begin training for have Vawdon Cup.

2025 Senior State Cup will take place from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th December at Port Macquarie. 

At a minimum, all players will need to turn 14 years old by December 31, 2025 to participate in the 20s division and 15 years old to play in the Opens division at Senior State Cup.
