Students that participate
MUST be attending Comstock Public Schools.
Overview: This is a developmental program for boys and girls, which is all about fun and fundamentals through practice. We will provide some Saturday in-house games on 8' rims. The grade range will be 1st-2nd.
Coaches: We need parent volunteers to coach, otherwise we won’t be able to run the season.
Practices: Each week will consist of at least 1 practice and 1 competition. The particular days will be determined once we have our coaches and number of teams determined.
Practice/Competition Gear: Players should be prepared to bring/wear these items to practice/competition:
- Water Bottle, shorts/sweats, and gym shoes
Team Draft: Week of December 18th, 2023. Teams will be created after this night.
Team Practice: Starts the week of January 8th, 2024
Games: Will take place on Saturdays, but dates will be announced at a later date.
Player registration forms, check, and cash can me mailed or dropped off at Comstock Elementary School during school hours (Attn: Chyna McMillian, 1423 N. 28th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49048).
