•  New students come in with little knowledge about their university or how to get around the city. Although it is possible to figure everything out on our own, it surely takes time, and sometimes it would take a few mistakes (or multiple!) before we can really say we don't need help. 😩😰
•  Because of this, being a friend who is willing to be there for you -- a mentor who volunteers to help and guide you, it becomes ever important and such a kind and selfless feat. 💛😇
•  Being a mentor to new students is an important responsibility. Not only do you become responsible for their orientation, you also become responsible for their assimilation into university life in Kaunas Kolegija and city life here in Kaunas. You might also make lifelong friendships, or you might just learn a little from them as well. 😉💙
