Thank you for your interest in the Boise Hive! We are a volunteer-run organization and our volunteers find their best fit with us when they desire to help improve mental health and/or love music.

We have several roles in which you can help, and we keep the list updated. If you want a specific role or shift, please let us know in your response.

Front Desk Role:
* Be the volunteer on-site, interacting with customers for their rehearsal room needs and covering whatever is happening at the Hive in a four hour shift, any day of the week.

Please note that if completing court-mandated service hours, you must use the time clock to track your hours, and if you miss more than one scheduled volunteer shift, the contract will be nullified.

Mental Health Role:
* Sobriety group (requires training and accreditation and or commitment to be a dedicated AA or NA group leader for the Hive)
* Music Therapy Lessons/Sessions
* Suicide Survivors Loss Group
* Licensed counseling or social work for the music community
* Mental Health Team (meets monthly)

Music Role:
* Hivecasting: Interest in latest broadcasting booth technology and equipment, crewing a live broadcast, directing, camera management, lighting, audio mixing
* Podcasting: Assisting in development and production of Boise Hive podcasts
* Audio crew for Creative Culture Beats recording
* Develop audio and video art content for Live at the Hive streaming

* Post-production editing of Live at the Hive broadcasts for re-broadcast and FM radio playback
* Music History Archive Development

Business Role:
* Hive Marketing: Using radio/tv/online marketing to get the Hive message out, brochures, outreach
* Hive Website development
* Build open broadcaster software (OBS) layer for Hivecasts
* Grant idea development and authoring
* Fundraising
* Develop Hive Programs
* Staff a Table to represent Boise Hive at community events
* Write up volunteer instructions
* Develop internal business rules and help manage business records

Operations Role:
* Facilities and equipment maintenance and repair (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, roofing)
* Studio cleaning
* Music instrument and equipment maintenance
