These positions are AmeriCorps volunteer positions that offer a cost of living allowance and education scholarship award.  The individuals will serve alongside current RISE members as mentors and leaders providing economic opportunity (Workforce & skill training) for Storm Lake youth in The Bridge of Storm Lake's Youth Run Enterprises (Endless Sea Coffee and Cultivate Training Garden). Youth will learn about volunteer recruitment, marketing, gardening and roasting skills, financial, and much more.  Applicants from immigrant and refugee communities are preferred.  All Applicants must be at least 17 years old, graduate or plan to graduate from High School and eligible to work in the United States.

      -Total Living Allowance = $2,325, pay ~$465/biweekly ($7.75/hr)
      -Plus Education Award = $1311, At End of Service ($4.37hr)

These positions are AmeriCorps Summer VISTA Associate volunteer positions that offer a cost of living allowance and education scholarship award. The individuals will serve on The Bride of Storm Lake's Summer Team as mentors and leaders providing organizational capacity building in leading summer neighborhood outreach and programming, youth and volunteer recruitment, and youth health and wellness support.  Summer VISTA members will help develop and support partnerships in the community to serve the youth during the summer and throughout the year.  All Applicants must be at least 18 years old, graduate or plan to graduate from High School and eligible to work in the United States.

These individuals will work as an intern to either coordinate transportation or food for The Bridge of Storm Lake's summer youth program. Must be a currently enrolled, undergraduate student who will be returning to college as a full-time (12 credit hours) sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2021 and eligible to work in the United States

Coordinate daily transportation to and from activities including Cultivate Training Garden, Summer Learning Loss Programs and Lunch; other summer camps or activities, and summer evening outreach programs

Coordinate food for the Cultivate Training Garden and Learning Loss Prevention summer program, Coordinate with school lunch program leaders for the days and times the youth will utilize Lunch Program, manage lunches that are outside of the school lunch program, manage weekly Youth Night Meals, and weekly Neighborhood Night Outreach events.
