- This spirit of this grant is to provide out-of-school time enrichment to Laconia students in grades K-12. There may be occasional days that the program will not be available after-school, such as weather related activity or extremely low staffing situations. You will be notified as soon as possible, but please take some time to think of a back up plan.
The out-of-school-time offerings at Laconia Schools are available to families
FREE of charge due to the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Grant. After-school programming includes a free balanced dinner and transportation.
Program will begin on September 25, 2023 and run until June 6, 2024.
All children must be picked up from Elm Street School, Pleasant Street School and Woodland Heights School by 5:30 pm.
Students at Laconia Middle School must be picked up by 4:30.
***If you find yourself in a situation where you will not make it on time, we ask that you communicate as soon as possible to the site coordinator. In the event that your child has more than two late pick ups, we may require that your child utilize bus transportation or you may need to seek out an alternative after-school plan. We do not have staffing to accommodate late pick ups.***
Filling out this application does not guarantee placement. We will finalize spots in September once staffing has been secured and you will receive a confirmation through ParentSquare. In the event that the program is full and your child is waitlisted, we will prioritize in order of which the applications were received. If you have extraordinary circumstances, please reach out to your school's social worker.
