Peverell Traffic and Parking Survey
The streets of Peverell are acutely feeling the steady increase in car and commercial van ownership, with parking being one of the biggest issues for residents. The density of housing and lack of driveways means we are running out of street parking spaces.
Even a small reduction in the number of cars would improve parking considerably. But we need some new thinking to achieve this, as current Council residential parking permits won’t reduce parking pressures in most areas.
