Registration Information:
Our academic year will run from August through May, with the last week serving as a make-up week. We will hold two or more performance events each academic year. All students are encouraged to attend and participate in all performances.
Lessons
All lessons are held weekly. Students should come to lessons on time and prepared with all books and materials. Students arriving late to lessons will be taught from the time they arrive to the end of their scheduled lesson.
Make-Up and Missed Lessons
Students are requested to provide 24 hours of notice, if they will be absent. Students notifying the studio within the permitted time will be provided a make-up lesson. Make-up lessons will be scheduled as soon as possible where time permits. If you have notified the studio of an absence and no time is available for your make-up lesson, your lesson will be scheduled for the make-up week at the end of the year. "No shows" will not be provided a make-up lesson.
Classes
Classes are held in three, 10 week sessions. Each session is designed to build upon the previous session. Participation in all three sessions is strongly encouraged so that students will gain a sense of accomplishment and build comradery with their fellow classmates. Classes are designed to teach students to grow and collaborate while making music with each other.
Registration
A registration fee in the amount of $25 for an individual or $40 for a family is due upon submission of your application. You will be emailed an invoice for this fee.
Tuition
Monthly tuition is paid via auto-draft on the 28th or the 1st - 7th of each month. You will receive an email with a link to pay your registration fee and or first invoice and each invoice there after will be automatically drafted via the information you provided with your first payment. You can select your auto-draft date in the form above or email us with your requested date. Any fees incurred from returned or rejected payments will be forwarded to you for reimbursement.
Practice
Students are expected to spend time practicing their instrument at home. This is essential to student success. Students that have an instrument in good working condition and a dedicated time or schedule of practice tend to be the most successful. Please contact us for more information on how to motivate and encourage home practice and on selecting an appropriate instrument.
Withdrawal
Please provide 2 weeks notice of withdrawal via the withdrawal form to provide time to update schedules and cancel any automatic payment processing.
Video/Photography Waiver
Artistry by Music will occasionally take pictures and/or videos at events and during lessons. The pictures and photographs may be shared via various social media sites on the studio website, and/or for marketing purposes. If you would like to have you or your child's photographs excluded from social media posts or from our studio website please submit a written request.
