Welcome to the CFUZ Caught in the Act Volunteer Application Form!

Caught in the Act is a project spearheaded by CFUZ and funded through the Community Radio Fund of Canada. The goal of the project is to feature and promote local musicians through our community radio station, and establish a relationship with local musicians so that we can help them continue to be in the local spotlight through CFUZ, 92.9FM in Penticton.

The project aims to host and produce 20 live virtual performances by local musicians, from January 2021 through August 2021. Each performance will be live streamed to the public, and both video and audio of the performance will be captured and produced into content to be featured on our YouTube channel, and on our radio station, CFUZ 92.9FM.

In addition, the goal of this project is to expose our CFUZ volunteers to opportunities in music and video capture and production. Finding a way to balance the needs of the project, while maintaining the safety of our volunteers, and providing them with a meaningful learning experience is our aim. By submitting this form, you are letting us know that you are interested in being a part of this project to promote local music to our listeners and viewers.

While we recognize that many of our volunteers will want to be involved, we will do our best to schedule volunteers in such a way as to maximize both your success, and the success of the project.

Due to COVID-19, and in consideration of the safety of our CFUZ family, we will be restricting the number of volunteers present at each event. Please note that applications received at the start of the project may not provide opportunities until the latter stages (later in the year). We will do our best to keep you informed on our progress. Please note that only those volunteers selected to participate in the program will be contacted by the Caught in the Act Production or Music Directors after December 15, 2020.
