Hello everyone,
Thanks for checking out the form.
The workshop is a result of connections I made on social media, where I was able to connect to other writers, poets, and creators. We got to chatting and all felt empowered by the fact that we were able to connect with other creators "like us". Whether "people like me" meant children of diaspora, women, people of colour or something else. I also started to realize how little information there was about opportunities that are available to creators, from publishing to funding to developing your skills. So I thought, "why not?"
Why not get together and see what we can learn from each other and how we can support each other.
To make sure that I can plan an event that addresses everyone's needs (to the best of my capacity), I created the survey below.
I hope you will be able to participate. I am so excited to be hosting this workshop - for now only located in Toronto. Please feel free to email me if you have any concerns, questions, or just because -
