Hockey Geelong is excited to be part of Hockey Victoria's Stand Out Cup!The Stand Out Cup (SOC) is an annual pre-season social event designed to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in hockey and make a stand against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia in our sport. Since its creation in 2015, the event has grown significantly and provided a crucial platform to raise funds and awareness for Proud 2 Play, a not-for-profit organisation that provide essential support to LGBTIQ+ community members.
SOC is the perfect family-friendly event for current and new hockey members, allies, and rainbow people to come and show their support for the LGBTIQ+ community while participating in fun, modified and social hockey matches.

Event Details;

- Time: 10.30am - 4.00pm
- Location: Footscray Hockey Club, McIvor Reserve, Fogarty Avenue Yarraville 3013
- Cost : TBC (see below)
Event format:
All teams will play a minimum of 3 matches plus a final (if they finish 1st or 2nd in their division).
Within this form there is an option to select a division preference. Please note this will be used as a guide when registering our teams, as it will depend on numbers..
Rules;
All matches are 5 a side and will be played on modified Hockey 5's pitches and rules. Standard Hockey 5's rules are found here.
Eligibility;
The tournament is an all-gendered event and open to participants aged 14+. Please note that a team entry is for a maximum of 10 players.
Team Entry:
The team entry fee is $330 per team (5-10 players). This includes; Pitch Hire, Umpire Fees and 10x SOC sports towels (one for each player).
