Thank you for registering to participate in the Hattiesburg Veterans Day Parade! This annual event celebrates and honors the many veterans in our community and across the United States. Please ensure that you check all rules and regulations at the bottom of this registration. If you cannot agree to all, contact parade organizers below. All participants must be aware of and agree to the regulations in order to complete this application. Participation will not be allowed if incomplete.

This parade is a non-partisan, non-political event and parade entries may not display any negative racial, cultural or religious messages, images or anything of the like. If an organization, group or person does not adhere to these standard operating procedures, they will be removed from the lineup.

Please check EVERY box to confirm your understanding of the current standard operating rules.

All participants must have an application (online or printed and submitted) approved by the Armed Forces Top Enlisted Association Magnolia Chapter, in order to participate.

Unless there is an emergency, no one is allowed to get on or off a float, vehicle or entry once the parade has started.

This is a forward-motion parade. No backward-motion is permitted during the parade.

A review stand will be placed along the parade route.

All units must keep pace with the units in front of them.

All participants or units should leave the appropriate interval between themselves and the next participant or units.

Vehicles must proceed all the way, safely, past the end of the parade route before stopping and unloading.

All vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver.

Children riding on a float, trailer or vehicle must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Floats and vehicle decorations should have patriotic themes. Materials must be flame retardant.

All participants must abide by the rules of the road and take direction from officers.
