2024 FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF SCIENCE TEACHERS’ ANNUAL CONFERENCE, "Igniting Curiosity, Illuminating Minds; Florida Science Shines Bright"
The presenter application is open. We are looking for 55-minute long presentations on Friday and Saturday during the FAST Conference in Tampa, Florida. The focus should incorporate and address the theme "Igniting Curiosity, Illuminating Minds; Florida Science Shines Bright" and the Florida NGSSS standards.
If you want to provide a 2-3 hour workshop experience on Thursday, October 19th, notify Nancy Besley directly (nancybesley@gmail.com). All proposals must be submitted by June 19, 2024. FAST will notify individuals of acceptance by July 12th, 2024.
The FAST conference will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa USF, 3705 Spectrum Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 on October 24 – 26, 2024. All presenters and co-presenters (including vendors who are presenting) must each register and pay for the conference using the presenter registration button on the FAST conference website. The conference will be $75 for early registration and must be paid by September 20, 2024 to hold your presentation slot (no refunds after this date). Lodging is $129.00/night if you register using the hotel link on the FAST conference website if it is booked by October 7th, 2024 (unless room block is filled).
