This form is specifically for pairings registering for SuMO VI: The Rise of Franklin's trash event, to be held on July 11 in the Meen Center at Tusculum University.
SuMO still stands for Summer Mixed Open. You still register as a partnership of two. On the morning of the tournament, you and your partner will still be paired with another partnership, roughly based on your experience and skill level; you will play the tournament with that other partnership, two partnerships paired as a team of four. (You'll establish a team name when you're paired up.) We do this to try to build the most evenly-paired field possible; we want every game to be as competitive as possible.
As such, you'll be asked some questions in the form about your most recent trash experience and your self-assessment of your quality. Please answer honestly; we'll also use the information you give us to research your track record as a player, and we'll make sure you're seeded accordingly. The tournament will mirror Ohio Trash, the high-school level trash set by Bob Kilner and his Ohio-circuit compatriots; keep that in mind as you answer questions.
The registration fee is $40 per partnership, and if at all possible, we need that registration fee in cash; that'll make the redistribution of the prize money easier to handle.
Be aware that Tusculum is still under a ruleset associated with the reopening of the campus under COVID, and while that ruleset may be formally relaxed before July, as of right now that ruleset still asks us to make sure everybody is masked and everybody signs a waiver as they come onto campus. The current edition of the "Pioneer Pathway" is at this website, and you're most interested in Pages 14 and 15:

Thanks for your interest and we welcome you to SuMO!
