Ladera Vista JHS 2020-2021 ASES Expanded Learning Program Registration Form
Dear Parent/Guardian,

Thank you for your interest in our ASES Expanded Learning (After School) Program. We are happy to announce we will be reopening for in-person ASES Expanded Learning Programming on Monday, October 19, 2020. The Fullerton School District Child Development Services Department offers the (ASES) After School Education and Safety program to Ladera Vista students, 7th- 8th grade, at Ladera Vista Jr. High School of the Arts. The ASES Program includes daily academic support, enrichment experiences, and a daily meal. Below is additional information about the program and how to register for the 2020- 21 school year:

GENERAL INFORMATION:
*The ASES Expanded Learning at Ladera Vista Jr. High School is a full-time program!
*We are a Grant-Funded Expanded Learning program.
*We are not childcare or a 1-1 Tutoring Service.
*There are no costs to participate in the ASES Program.
*Parent/Guardian is required to notify the ASES program staff of absence from the program.
*Excessive late pick-ups, early pick-ups, or absences will be caused to dismiss a student from the program.
*Students who have permission to walk home, will sign-out and leave the program between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm. However, between Monday, November 2, 2020, and Friday, March 12, 2021, students will walk at 4:30 pm due to Daylight Savings Time.
*All students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. at the latest.
*A late fee will be assessed to the parent/guardian, as the ASES grant does not cover operating costs after 6:00 pm.
*Parent/Guardian is invited to attend a minimum of (2) Parent Engagement/Program Events throughout the year.

GENERAL REOPENING PLAN
- ASES Expanded Learning will be available to students who are on the school campus for the 5-Day or Hybrid Core Learning Day.
- Ratio: Our ratio will be 1 (adult) to 14 (students) in a group/cohort
- Basic Elements: We will continue to offer daily academic support, enrichment opportunities in STEM, the Arts, Outdoor experiences, and Social-Emotional Learning, and Supper.
- Shared Space: We will use indoor and outdoor shared spaces on campus.
- Health & Safety Guidelines: The ASES Program will follow and align with all COVID-19 Health & Safety Procedures of the Fullerton School District.  

STEPS TO REGISTER:
1. Please complete the following form for each child you are registering.
2. You will receive a confirmation email within 3-5 business days, from the ASES Program.

*Registration is accepted until we have reached our maximum enrollment. At that point, we will offer a Wait List.
