The North Oyster and Area Historical Society (NOAHS), is conducting an old barn inventory in our area. The wooden barns of the past are rapidly disappearing, mainly because they are too expensive to maintain or restore. NOAHS is seeking to find and document these structures, and we invite the owners of such buildings to participate in this important project. If you have an old barn, be it large or small, and live in the Yellow Point, North Oyster, Cedar, Cassidy, South Wellington, Extension or Duke Point areas and anywhere in between, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Once we have collected the information, the results will be compiled and made available to the public. Location and owners will remain confidential unless permitted for release by the owner.
