The NMRC strongly believes that our Volunteers are vital to the success of our organization. We are keenly aware the great volunteers, like you, do not grow on trees. It takes a tremendous amount of commitment in time and finance to grow your skill sets in order to deliver a world class experience for our students.
With that in mind the NMRC has decided to giveback and help develop these people who are so vital to our community. The executive committee has establish the "World Class Volunteers" program in which we reinvest back into those who have invested in us.
This new program will provide reimbursement for some travel expenses to a deserving Volunteer who choses to go and volunteer at the World Championships. While we can not send everyone we hope that this program will serve as a small token of our immense gratitude for each and every one of our volunteers. Anyone who has volunteered at an NMRC event. (Championship, Week 0, Programming Camp, etc...) is eligible for this program.
Once applications are submitted the selection committee will review the applications and select one of the deserving individual. The selected volunteer is responsible for all of their own upfront costs and bookings. Upon their return they may turn in their receipts to the NMRC Treasurer for reimbursement of expenses up to $500.
