Positive Behavior Solutions

Free workshop Wednesday November 30, 2022 from 5-7PM on Zoom. Workshop presented by Dr. David Kieval  from CSO Clinical & Support options/ Rural Awareness & Access. How can you understand and manage challenging behavior in ways that are most supportive of children and their healthy growth and development? Participants will learn strategies for assessing the factors contributing to challenging behavior, understanding why a child is engaging in the behavior, and developing alternative, adaptive ways for children to get their needs met. In the second half of the training, we will generate examples of behavioral interventions that correspond to a variety of behavioral functions and contributing factors.

I have completed the Ages and Stages developmental tool for my child/children within the last year.
The easy to use Ages and Stages developmental tool is a questionnaire for anyone (the parent/guardian) to complete (online/paper/pencil).  The questionnaire you complete is determined by your child’s date of birth.  The tool can be used for children ages 2 months up until 5 yrs and 5 months old.  The tool covers five developmental areas such as gross motor (movement) and communication (language skills), fine motor, problem solving and personal-social.   Once the questionnaire is submitted to me we can move ahead.  We will discuss the results. You will receive a free book and child activity packet to support your child's skills as they enter the next stage of development. This tool also helps guide me in my programming to provide necessary skills to all of the children in a fun and exciting way!
