2023 Las Vegas Sun Summer Camp Fund Application
Thanks to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund, a limited amount of funds are available to families who have a financial need for partial-to-nearly-full camperships to cover registration costs of camp.

To qualify for The Sun Campership, the camper must:
  • be 8 to 14 years old by Fall 2023
  • reside in Southern Nevada
  • be able to provide transportation, clothing, and other such needs for the camp week; these funds only apply to the registration fees
Important information:
  • Applications are considered on a first-come basis and must be received at least 2 weeks before the start of the chosen camp.
  • After you receive approval, register your camper here: https://ppyouthevents.campbrainregistration.com
  • Use the discount code, provided via email after approval, at check out in order to complete “payment” and submit registration.

It is recommended that parents/guardians pay partial fees when possible and provide the necessary items for camp, as listed in the welcome packet (located on the camp website: https://potosipinescamp.org/home/summer-camp/)
How much can you pay per camper registration? *
PLEASE NOTE:
Final selection of campers will be made by Potosi Pines Camp. Neither the Las Vegas Sun, nor the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund shall be responsible for any injury that may be incurred by recipient of a Sun Camp Fund Campership during a camping session or while being transported to and from camp. The parent/guardian will be required to complete the required online registration forms for Potosi Pines Summer Camps.

In the event this camper does not register 2 weeks before the selected camp OR the guardian or caseworker does not contact the Office Admin for help with registration at that time, the camper's spot in camp and reserved campership funds will be released. Additionally, should the camper register and cannot attend camp for any reason, it is the responsibility of the guardian or caseworker to contact the Director or Office Admin so that spot may be released to campers on the waitlist. There is no penalty for not being able to attend camp! We just want to ensure we know who is coming and if others may attend instead.
