Family-Student Discipline Agreement
The moral obligation of training children rests first with the families. The responsibility of the school is to give extension and broadening to parental training. The teachers in this school are dedicated to finding the best means of guiding and teaching your children, and in this way helping you, the families.

It is extremely important that a child be thoroughly convinced that his/her families stand behind the school and that they will demand an accounting of what the child does in school. Without such an understanding, a child may think that home and school are unrelated areas of authority and he/she will play one against the other. We can best serve the children by working together and by supporting one another in all things. If there is a difference of opinion, make an appointment to talk things over. We can surely come to some understanding which will safeguard the child’s respect for all.

Please go over the Family Student handbook with each one of your children  before September 17th and fill out the Family Student Discipline Agreement Form. Please note that by filling out this form all parties names undersigned, state that we have read and agree to be governed by the Family/Student Handbook for St. Francis de Sales Catholic Academy. We understand fully that the regulations contained therein apply to all students without exception and recognize the right of the school to establish rules and provide for their enforcement.

I acknowledge that I have received and read the Parent-Student Handbook and all subsequent forms (“Handbook”).  I have read and understood the contents of this Handbook, and will act in accord with these policies and procedures.  I have explained the contents of this Handbook to my child.  I agree that I am responsible for my child’s adherence to the policies in this Handbook.
