We have spent some time collecting policy ideas and solutions from local community members through both visioning sessions and different online submission methods. The next step in the process is to evaluate each proposal based on its level of overall impact.
INSTRUCTIONS
This form contains a number of solutions organized by topic areas noted below. Please rank each on the following impact criteria: magnitude, reach, duration, and equity. The form will take you through the process, but if you would like to learn more about the different impact criteria, you can review our policy impact document here.
Please note that this form only scores impact. Solution feasibility will be scored in a separate form.
It is important to note that impact scoring is not a definitive method for determining the best solution, but rather a tool for systematically comparing different options and facilitating informed decision-making.
IMPACT CRITERIA
- Magnitude of impact: How significant is the solutions' impact on the issue it is designed to address? In short, the magnitude of impact means moving the outcome itself.
- Reach: How many people or entities are affected by the solution? In short, the reach means the outcome by the number of groups affected.
- Duration of impact: How long will the solutions' impact last? In short, the duration of impact means how long the impact is likely to last.
- Equity: Does the solution address any inequities or disparities in society? In short, equity means that the outcome gives greater attention to the most disadvantaged groups.
