We are delighted to welcome speaker, mental health campaigner, broadcaster and Young Adult writer, Natasha Devon MBE to NHEHS  on Tuesday 5th July 2022.

Natasha visits schools, colleges, universities and events across the world, speaking to young people, delivering talks and undertaking research on mental health, body image, gender and social equality.

She received her MBE in 2015 for services to young people, and later that year was appointed as the government’s Mental Health Champion. Known for being outspoken and unfailingly protective of young people’s wellbeing, she was later removed from this position after she spoke out against the pressures of exams and their effect on mental health.

Natasha’s first Young Adult novel, Toxic, was written in response to requests from young women to address the difficulties they sometimes encounter in friendships and relationships. Toxic deals with themes such as race, privilege, friendship and sisterhood and will be published in July 2022.
