YC Auditions 2021-2022 Info: 
We are asking that everyone please fill out the form below so that we can keep you informed about our audition process in the fall. Please note that parent authorization is required in order to participate in our Youth Company Programs. The auditions will take place on October 19th and 21st from 4:30- 6:30pm. Attendance on BOTH days are required. The auditions are for BOTH Performance Lab AND Playwriting Lab.

MCC Youth Company is a free after school program for NYC High School Students. Auditions will be held remotely on Zoom for the following programs in the MCC Youth Company:

PERFORMANCE LAB - a weekly class that meets Mondays from 4:30 -6:30pm, is dedicated to ensemble building, where actors develop their performance skills through improvisation, scene study, movement, writing and voice. They perform, rehearse, and share their original works during spring break for our culminating annual UNCENSORED production.

PLAYWRITING LAB - a weekly playwrighting session that meets Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm, where members develop original scripts in weekly workshops focused on how to create monologue, dialogue, setting, conflict, and characters. Playwrights get to experience a professional workshop process and see their plays brought to life in our culminating annual Fresh Play Festival.

The DEADLINE to REGISTER for auditions is Monday, October 18th at 11:59pm.

MCC's Youth Company's programs will operate REMOTELY for the fall and until further notice. WHEN we are able to meet in person in 2022, our location is on 10th avenue and 52nd street in Manhattan. Performance Lab classes are on Mondays and Playwrighting Lab classes are on Wednesdays, both from 4:30 -6:30pm. Are you able to meet weekly at the location when we transition to in person classes during the school year from October through the end of May? *
