Thank you for taking the time to complete this form and for prayerfully considering current parents of our St. Bernard Family to join the Advisory Board.

To nominate someone for the Advisory Council, please complete the form below and click submit by WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, 2019. You may nominate more than one person. You may even nominate yourself!

All eligible nominees will be contacted by an Advisory Council member to submit a biography with a photo in order to proceed to the election process.

1. Any parent may seek election to the Advisory Council. The following individuals and their spouses are NOT eligible for council membership as mandated by the Diocese of Lafayette:
 Employees of the school,
 Employees of St. Bernard Church, and/or
 Persons who work at the school, but are paid for that work by another group, agency, individual or school system.

2. Advisory Council members are expected to attend monthly meetings and to assume additional committee member duties. Members can expect to spend between five (5) to ten (10) hours each month performing Advisory Council activities. Existing committees include Athletics, Curriculum/Technology, Christian Formation, Development, Facilities, and Finance.

3. All monthly Advisory Council meetings are held on the third (3rd) Tuesday of every other month, excluding the month of June. Sub-committee meetings are held at the discretion of the individual committee during the months when the Advisory Board doesn't meet.

4. The term of office is three (3) years.

5. No prior experience is needed.

6. Nominees should possess a willingness to help provide SBS with the best possible leadership. This is very much appreciated.
