Vegetable Research Roadshow Registration Form 

Event overview: Vegetables NZ, with support from Vegetable Research & Innovation (VR&I) are hosting a number of grower roadshow events to highlight the research that is occurring in the vegetable industry. These events will cover updates from multiple product groups based on the region they are being held. These workshops will also cover the Sustainable Vegetable Systems project and the Nitrogen Decision Support Tool under development. Crop focuses will include Fresh Vegetables, Process Vegetables, Onions, Potatoes, Buttercup Squash & Tomatoes. Topics will include specific project updates, A lighter Touch projects, integrated pest management, resistance management, etc. This is a chance for growers to hear about the latest research results, industry updates, and provide feedback to help direct future research work.

This road show will visit multiple growing areas, and focus on key research outcomes and themes relevant to that region. 
  • Dargaville - Wednesday 21st February, starting at 4pm 
  • Richmond - Tuesday 19th March, starting 3pm 
  • Pukekohe - Wednesday 10th April, starting at 3pm 
  • Hawkes Bay - Thursday 11th April, starting at 4pm 
  • Ashburton- Tuesday 16th April, starting at 3pm 
  • Invercargill - Wednesday 17th April, starting at 4pm 
  • Ohakune - Tuesday 30th April, starting at 4pm
  • Palmerston North - Wednesday 1st May, starting at 4pm
  • Gisborne - Thursday 9th May, starting at 4pm
All events are in the late afternoon on the above dates,  with lite catering provided.
