SEED Facilitator Training Application (2021-2022)
This is an application to be trained as a student facilitator for Students Engaging in Essential Dialogues (SEED)! You can learn more about SEED here: https://www.carleton.edu/dean-of-students/initiatives/seed/ . Your answers to these questions will remain confidential and only members of the SEED leadership team: Elena Morales-Grahl '23, Win Wen Ooi '22, Santi Rico '22, and Emma Chin '23, Bee Candelaria '24, Anwesha Mukherji '23, and also potentially our faculty/staff advisory board (Renee Faulkner, Al Montero and Dean Livingston) will see them. You may skip any questions that you are not comfortable answering, but all responses will be kept confidential. We would appreciate your responses because they will help us to ensure that we have a diverse group of facilitators and to create pairs of co-facilitators that work well together. Additionally, the depth of your answers will aid us in the selection process as we cannot hold interviews at this time. Reach out to SEED Board members with any questions. The deadline for this application is Sunday March 20th at midnight.

(We will also ensure that everyone is comfortable with their co-facilitators, but for now we are concerned about the larger group for the training. This isn't a guarantee that they will be excluded, but we will follow up with you so that the training space will be safe enough for everyone to engage in the work of facilitating difficult dialogues.)
If you are chosen to be a facilitator, would you also be interested in being on the SEED Board?
