Kitsap Climate Team New Member Application!
Welcome! Please fill out this form if you are interested in becoming a member of the Kitsap Climate Team (KCT). We are a grassroots organization of young people, who want to bring awareness to the Kitsap area through our own methods of community work, education, and political mobilization to achieve a more green and just future for all living organisms on this planet we call home. We firmly take a stand in solidarity with marginalized communities, and work to bring awareness of the issues around climate change that are not just involving green capitalism. In other words, purchasing products that are supposed to be "sustainable", but ultimately still pollute and extract from our planet's resources. Thus, we work towards bringing systemic change and community awareness through actions mobilizing the youth and surrounding communities in the Kitsap area who may have strong differences in opinions towards our beliefs.
