We're thrilled to be offering a brand new Coach Workshop programme that covers all levels of Coaching. These will be run by OHA Coach Developers, however, also largely participant led. So come prepared with questions for our Coach Developers too!

Introduction to 6-a-side Coach Workshop
Aimed at coaches/managers/parents for teams in Ministicks and Kiwisticks (Years 3-6), our introduction to 6-a-side workshop will focus on getting the most out of the limited time you'll have together as a team. We'll look at how to coach basic skills, how to improve them, and how to encourage team play! As always, if you've got questions bring them along and we'll be able to structure sessions around your needs as well!

Our second Introduction to 6-a-side Workshop will be an on-turf session, aimed at answering all your questions you've got after the first few weeks of hockey. They'll also be there with some resources for our coaches as well!

Intermediate 6-a-side Coaching Workshop
Aimed at coaches for teams in Kwiksticks (Year 7&8), this workshop will focus on building key aspects of the game now that we've transitioned from a quarter-turf to a half-turf. This will include: Basic team structures, positioning, creating meaningful trainings, and team-building.

Our second Intermediate 6-a-side Workshop will be a Q&A with our Coach Developers upstairs in the Pavilion Meeting Room. We'll also be there with some resources as well.
