Sheffield Food Festival 2020: Expression of Interest - Street Food & Bar Traders
The city’s largest free to attend event takes place for its tenth year from 22nd – 25th May 2020 in the city centre, spreading across the Peace Gardens, Winter Gardens, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square and Fargate, attracting over 50,000+ visitors across the weekend. The next event is a special celebration of ten successful years of the cities largest free to attend event for all members of the family.

The markets are open from 10am - 6pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, whilst the Eats, Treats & Beats Village opens a day earlier on Thursday and continues into each evening with street food and music until 11pm.

We have a number of different options available for street food traders in 2020:

EATS, TREATS & BEATS PITCHES: five days and three evenings trading alongside the popular Eats, Treats & Beats bar

STREET FOOD PITCHES: this may include the Peace Gardens fountain area, the top of the Pinstone Steet steps, Town Hall Square and Fargate. Location to be confirmed at offer stage.

BAR TRADER PITCHES: are available across the entire event site three or four days trading within the festival.

Before completing this form please read the Trade Terms and Conditions and Event Specifications carefully. If the consent holder’s business includes the sale of food they must ensure they comply with all requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990, and in particular the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995.

PLEASE NOTE: Street food traders may not serve alcohol for consumption at the event without the prior written permission of the Sheffield Food Festival team.

All bar traders will be required to operate in accordance with the Challenge 21 Scheme, to maintain a refusal log throughout the event and to ensure that no drinks are dispensed in glass containers.

PLEASE NOTE: Any applications to trade approved through this route will be considered to have been given prior written permission to sell alcohol at the event, as per our Terms & Conditions.
