Seed saving and cultural memory banking: community engaged participatory plant breeding with API farmers in California

Kristyn Leach (Namu Farm) will be the first presenter in this quarter long seminar series. During this seminar series we will learn about Asian specialty crops, cultural memory banking and the history and current context of the AAPI community in California food and agriculture. Kristyn Leach owns and operates Namu Farm. Namu Farm specializes in Korean and other Asian specialty crop and seed production. She is also one of the co-founders of Second Generation Seeds and Seed Stewards.
