Applicants must be South Gate High School seniors planning to continue their post-secondary education at a trade school, community college, or 4- year college or university. A minimum of 2.5 GPA is required to apply.

Scholarship Criteria (in no particular order):
1. Personal Experiences/Overcoming Adversity
2. Extracurricular Activities
3. Financial Need
4. GPA

Special attention will be given to the amount of time an applicant works/volunteers during the academic year, with the sincere understanding that hours spent at work may adversely affect grade point average and the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities.

Please note that proof of enrollment to your college/university will eventually be required before receiving the scholarship award.

The deadline to apply is April 30, 2024.  Winners will be announced on Awards Night!
