Thank you for your interest in Fuchsia Dance! We are looking for Bharatanatyam dancers and Carnatic musicians to join our team to participate in our upcoming production. The group is based in the South Bay Area. This form is due June 5, 2024.

Options:

1. Summer Contract*: June 15 - Oct 1 (in person)

2. Annual Contract: Oct 1 2024 - Oct 1 2025 (hybrid option available)

* It is possible to start in the summer and then extend for the year too :)

Time commitment:

Dancers: 5 hr/week (in person over summer, hybrid during the year)

Musicians: 2 hr/week (hybrid)

The hybrid option would involve weekly zoom rehearsals as well as dance intensives in the Bay Area a few weekends every quarter. In person attendance is required for performance dates.

Sept 21, 2024 (Erasing Borders, NY)

August 2025 (Bay Area Production Premiere)

We will be presenting an excerpt of our new production at Erasing Borders Dance Festival 2024 in New York on Sept 21. The full production will be premiered in the Bay Area in Summer/Fall 2025.
