FRIDAY, 19 MARCH, 1-2 PM

Join us this coming Friday for an intersectional look at women in the workplace with Brazilian Congresswoman Tábata Amaral, Barrister Dr Vanessa Davies and a Cambridge University professor

About the Panellists:

Tabata Amaral is a 26 year old Brazilian congresswoman and education activist. As a member of congress, her main agendas are education, women's rights, political innovation and sustainable futures. She was raised in the impoverished outskirts of Sao Paulo and studied at Harvard University with a full scholarship.

Dr Vanessa Davies was the Director General of the Bar Standards Board, the regulatory body for barristers in England and Wales. Before then, she worked in refugee, asylum and immigration law. She is also a governing Bencher of Inner Temple, where she contributes to its work on social mobility, diversity and inclusion. She is part of the House of Lords Conduct Committee, is a Trustee of the charity Law for Life, and sits on the Board of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in the UK.
