Thank you for your interest in registering for Srila Prabhupada’s Book Marathon 2022. 


It is indeed a special time of the year where we can come together to share and distribute Srila Prabhupada’s books. 


Our Goal is to distribute 12 000 books. 


Srila Prabhupada said 


Actually producing and distributing books is our most important engagement, all other engagements culminate in this one end — distribution of books.

Here are the different ways you can get involved in Srila Prabhupada’s Book Marathon this year:  

1. Kids League -

For every child who distributes 20 books or more, there will be a special experience.

This can be done on their own or in a team with Parental guidance 


2. Youth -

Harinam - The Harinam team headed by Virabhadra Prabhu will be hosting weekly Harinams in and around Durban during the marathon


Tiktok Book Distribution challenge 

We challenge those young and young at heart to promote and distribute Srila Prabhupada’s books in innovative ways via TikTok. 



3. Go Solo -

For those who would like to distribute books on their own, you can collect a book pack from the Sankirtan Book Office and distribute books at your leisure. 



4. Team up -

A group of friends or Namahatta can go out on Harinam, door to door distribution, street Sankirtan or pre-arranged spots 


5. Sponsor Spiritual Learning -

If you don’t have the time, you can contribute towards our Sankirtan initiatives such as the travelling Sankirtan party, Zulu Books, University Preaching and outreach programs 


6. Be a hero -

If devotees are new to book distribution and would like to try it out, they can join an experienced book distributor by just dedicating their time. 


7. Gita Jayanti (Live to Give Campaign) -

The BBT have a Bhagavad Gita Distribution campaign leading up to Gita Jayanti. 

Participants’ Names will be offered in a special Fire Yajna in Kurukshetra on Gita Jayanti
