Newport welcomes our 2024 presenter: Rev. Larissa Kwong Abazia, a leader in innovation and diversity who has served at all levels of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and is now designated Strategic Director of NEXT Church and a project coordinator for Princeton Theological Seminary on a grant concerning innovation and ministry. She plans inspiring talks on “Ecology of Community” and “Curiosity in Conversation.”
Larissa Kwong Abazia’s main talk will be on Saturday, February 3, at 10:00 a.m., in the sanctuary of Newport Presbyterian Church, followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage everyone to join us.
She will lead a discussion and reflection around dynamics in community on Friday February 2 from 3 to 5pm. She will also preach Sunday February 4 at 10am.
