This week's art task is inspired by Simone Walsh, an Irish artist based in Wexford. Many of Simone's paintings are based city and country scenes, quirky cats, brand art, fish and birds, home interiors to seascapes. Over the next two weeks, try to create a scene of Gorey using whatever media you have - pencils, crayons, paint etc. Think about the different places and buildings you would include - the park, particular shops, the GAA pitch, the monument? As we are currently learning about transport in geography try to incorporate the different types of transport you would see around Gorey.
