Volunteer Interest Form
We are grateful for all who volunteer their time, talents, and resources to Immanuel Christian School. Parent partnership is essential to carrying out Immanuel Christian School’s vision for excellence. All ICS families are required to contribute 10 volunteer hours per year to ICS. We are thankful that many parents give much more than that. Thank you for partnering with us in the pursuit of molding Immanuel Christian School students into Kingdom leaders!

Please look over the list of volunteer opportunities and mark the ones you have an interest in and for which you are available. Please submit one form per volunteer.

Office Tasks
Lunch Monitor
Supervise and connect with students during lunch periods. We need 2 people every day from 11:15AM–12:45PM.
Library
Assist the librarian on a regular basis with check-in and check-out, shelving, and other duties for 4–5 hours/month (2 hour shifts 2x/month OR 1 hour/week) Training provided.
Homeroom Parent / Coordinator
Assist the teacher with classroom parties, coordinate phone call/email trees, and recruit parents to fill occasional classroom volunteer needs. Averages 2 hours/month.
Corrector
This is a very important job. Corrections help our students achieve mastery of subject work. We need a lot of volunteers to pitch in to make this work well. Correct one subject of work during the evening. Commitment of 1 hour/night. You decide how many nights. It is very beneficial to have correctors who are able to help 3x/week because this provides relational consistency with the teacher. Correctors only help for certain subjects (math or language), not all subjects. Required corrector training will be scheduled the week before school starts.
Athletics
Assist coaches with team coordination and provide onsite help at athletic events.
Recess Monitor & Activity Leader
Demonstrate and encourage traditional playground games during recess. Awana games work great! You may sign up for no more than two days. We need 1 person every day from 9:15AM–11:15AM.  There are also paid positions available. Contact Mrs. Selby.
