Bridgeland Riverside Farmers Market Application and Market Rules 2022
The Bridgeland Riverside Farmers' Market is an approved Alberta Farmers' Market.  We adhere to Alberta Agriculture and Forestry guidelines of having at least 80% of our vendors being Albertans who make, bake or grow the products they sell; the remaining 20% may sell products that complement the market mix.

The Market is held outdoors (rain or shine) every Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30pm.  The season starts June 23 and wraps up on Oct 6, 2022 for a total of 16 market days. Vendors can book the entire 16 week season for a discounted rate or book individual market dates as desired. Applications open March 1st and continue throughout the summer season as long as spots are available.  

All vendors must supply their own tables & tents complete with covering up to a size of 10' x 10' per stall.  As per the City of Calgary guidelines, tent legs must be weighted down with a minimum of 25lb/ tent leg. More details as well as the fee schedule are listed below.

Once your completed application is submitted it will be reviewed by the Market Manager and the Market Advisory Group.  If your product is approved the market manager will email you a confirmation and follow up with payment details.

REFUNDS: There will be no refunds for less than $50. Seasonal vendors that choose to leave the market before the end of the season will receive a refund minus a $100 administrative fee, and the weekly $40 rate will be used to calculate the refund, instead of the discounted $35/week rate. *
NO SHOW FEE: is a $50 fee that will be applied to your credit card if you do not show up for a scheduled week, or cancel with less than 72 hours notice. It was created in part, to deter vendors from not showing up because of poor weather, for example, we are a ‘rain, snow or shine’ market and we want all vendors to participate. The fee will be applied every time a week is missed within the market season. Upon notification that your application has been approved, the BRFM will email you a pre authorization form for completion with your credit card details so that the No Show Fee can be applied. *
