Offering small amounts of financial assistance to Chester County families in need due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic (applications open until April 30, 2020).

1. NO NEED IS TOO SMALL!!! We realize it can be really embarrassing to ask for help. OR we like to think "others need it more than me". Don't negate your need. We have more than enough to help everyone in our fund and don't expect our applications to be many, so give it a try.

2. ALL ANSWERS SUBMITTED HERE ARE PRIVATE. They will not be shared with anyone. Only our administrator will see the name associated with the submission. Our grant board will only see the stories, not the names and will vote accordingly. For questions, please email admin@ittakesavillagecc.org.

3. HOWEVER, YOUR STORY MAY BE SHARED, ANONYMOUSLY. By submitting this application you are giving the Village permission to share an annonymous and generic version of your story to be shared as an example of the work our organization is doing in the community. Example: "Villager 1 lost their job and is caring for three children. They received a $150 grant to help with groceries during work closure".

4. GRANTS WILL BE AWARDED WEEKLY on Sundays until the funds are exhausted. If you are selected to receive a grant, you will be asked to sign a waiver holding the Village harmless, releasing us of liability, and acknowledging receipt of the gift.

5. YOU ONLY NEED TO APPLY ONCE. One grant per family. If you submit once and do not receive an award on the first Sunday, this doesn't mean you've been declined. All submissions will be resubmitted to the grant board on a weekly basis so you have additional chances to be selected.

6. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION: Our grant board will be looking for acute need and priority will be given to single parents, those with children at home, and those caring for others.

7. WE EXPECT HONESTY FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COMMUNITY. Be a good human, be honest and no need to exaggerate...you don't need to over-inflate truth to be valued here. <3
