Accessibility at Duke: A Survey
Equal access is about inclusion: there are ways we can design spaces to be inviting for everyone. Accessibility is about more than just elevators and ramps. Both physical and non-physical features play a role in making a space conducive to learning, socializing, and living a healthy lifestyle. Features such as media and technology, teaching methods, classroom or workspace setup, lighting, transportation, thoroughfare, and signposting are all important in allowing equal access. This survey invites you to provide personal input about ways Duke can become a more accessible community.
