2022 Year 12 Retreat
Tuesday 8 February 2022

Dear Parent/Guardian,

                                                𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟏𝟐 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐

Date: Wednesday 16 February and Thursday 17 February 2022
Venue:         Ballina Surf Club Function Rooms
Travel:           Year 12 students may make their own transport arrangements to and
                       from the venue.
A bus will also be organised for any students unable to make their own way.
Please indicate your need for bus transfers on the google form.
Dress:            Casual clothes.  Please ensure garments are suitable for a range of activities.
Bring:             Water bottle
                       Hat
                       Food for lunch/recess both days.
There are no canteen facilities on site and students do not have permission to
                       leave at lunch time.

A difficult decision was made at the start of the year to cancel the Year 12 Retreat, based on COVID safety recommendations from Catholic Schools NSW and the Lismore Catholic Schools Office.

A team from the Two Wolves Leadership Collective will now join us in Ballina to present a number of workshops along with activities led by our own staff.  Parents who would like to learn more about this organisation are encouraged to visit their website: https://www.thecardonerproject.org/leadership-collective.

This retreat experience invites our new senior class to look closely at how they view themselves, how they relate to others, and how they experience God in their lives.  It offers an opportunity for the students to celebrate what they have already achieved, to set goals for their immediate future and to realise that they are not alone.  We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Please complete and submit the Medical form, the permission form and (where applicable) the request for bus transfers between the College and the Surf Club before Friday 11 February.

Yours sincerely,
