This course is being offered through the DigiAdvance research project at DCU. Co-funded by the European Union’s DIGITAL research and innovation programme under grant agreement 101100811, DigiAdvance is a consortium of 3 European universities and 3 industry partners located in Dublin, Barcelona and Aveiro. The DigiAdvance project aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees. This project aims to design, develop and provide 40+ regional courses to SME employees and jobseekers, reflecting the current needs of the sector, and offer them to learners in local languages, including English, Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese.
The personal data you submit to DigiAdvance in Dublin City University (the Data Controller) via this application form will be used to process your application to the course and will be treated in accordance with the DCU Data Privacy Policy. The DigiAdvance team at DCU may be contacted at dcustudio@dcu.ie.
The personal data you provide to us may be disclosed to staff and agents of DCU in order to assess this application and to deliver support services to you. In addition, personal data may be disclosed to DigiAdvance project partners with whom we are collaborating with on this EU co-funded project. Anonymised data will be reported to the European Commission in aggregate form, solely for project reporting and auditing purposes - no personal data will be reported to the European Commission.
The data you submit will be stored securely and held by the DigiAdvance project for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose of this project, at the end of which it will be erased.
You must be 18+ years of age to apply for DCU courses provided by the DigiAdvance research project.
Collection of Data for SO4 Indicators 1 and 3 of the Digital Europe Programme
Under the terms of our funding, DigiAdvance is required to report disaggregated data, including gender disaggregated information, to the Digital Europe programme on the following SO4 indicators:
In accordance with this funding requirement, we will contact you by email with a follow-up, anonymous survey within six months of having completed this training activity. The collected data will be used for the interim evaluation of the DIGITAL programme and the reporting of the success/impact of the SO4 actions.

Exercising your rights, queries and complaints
