In Sunday's Gospel, Jesus opens the eyes of a man born blind - on the Sabbath.  The man's neighbors and parents don't share his happiness.  His parents reject him, and he is expelled from the synagogue.  When Jesus finds him, the blind man tells Jesus that he believes in him.

Watch the video below and answer the questions below.
How did Jesus cure the man born blind?
Why did the Pharisees have an issue with Jesus curing the man born blind?
Why didn't the parents of the man born blind want to say that he was healed?
Why does Jesus tell the Pharisees they are not blind?
This week's Eucharistic Reflection talks about how we see Jesus in the Eucharist.  I know it is difficult to understand that we believe the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity when we see the bread and wine at Mass.  This is explained better in this Eucharistic Reflection.  Like Joseph, we need to use our eyes of faith to see Jesus at Mass.  We need to understand what is happening when the priest is saying the Eucharistic prayers and the Holy Spirit comes down to change the bread into the Body of Christ and the wine into the Blood of Christ.

This week, try to use your eyes of faith at Mass.  If you are at a Mass where Deacon Bruce is, pay attention when he rings the bells, that is when the Holy Spirit comes down.
