SisTers PGH is a BLACK and TRANS-led non-profit organization that serves POC, trans, and nonbinary people within Southwestern PA.

SisTers PGH provides opportunities for our trans communities of Pittsburgh/Allegheny County, including those aging out of the foster care cistem to thrive through our affirming programming that includes transitional housing, leadership roles, and initiatives that trans people create for trans people.

SisTers PGH is led by Founder/Director Ciora Thomas and directed by a Leadership Team of black, brown, Transgender, and nonbinary people geared to servicing and centering our QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People Of Color.

SisTers PGH community center is open Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm for trans youth, adults, and seniors. This space provides programming and volunteer opportunities geared to supporting our trans communities to thrive within the communities they live within. This is also a safe, brave space for trans folks to hang out during our open hours to find respite from homelessness and/or find other trans people to build unity and community with.

SisTers PGH Staff as a majority are trans/nonbinary and here to provide safe and supportive services that meet the needs of all of those trans folks that visit our center.
