Creative Music Making (Monday-Friday, June 3-7)

Love making things up on your musical instrument? Join us for Bridges Creative Music Making Camp! You can sign up as a musical composer or jazz musician, all levels welcome. Composers will write for professional community musicians. Jazz musicians will jam out in jazz combos. Faculty is made up of composers, performers, and jazz artists. Each day will begin and end with an improv session.
Monday-Thursday meets at Fairview Elementary with the final performance on Friday, June 7 at 4:30PM. Location TBA.
Those registering for "Creative Music Making" will receive a follow up survey specific to jazz and music composition.

Summer Chamber Music (Monday-Thursday, June 24-27) 
2:30-5:30 PM
$180 before May 1, $200 after May 1
Young musicians will be matched up with others of similar level and age into chamber groups. Each group will work daily with Bridges MAYO Chamber Music faculty, ending in large ensemble practice. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday rehearsals meet at Fairview Elementary. The program will end with a final performance on Friday, June 21 at 4:30PM. Location TBA.

Programs offered by Bridges Musical Arts Youth Organization are designed to be supplemental to school music programs. Our orchestra members participate in their school music programs whenever those are offered, and are encouraged to take advantage of a wide range of school musical activities. Please share the name of your school musical director if applicable.
