PLEDGE

I understand that my role as a counselor is to be flexible, available, and willing to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and the children He brings to Camp Icthus. My purpose is to serve the campers through instruction, example, friendship, and leadership.  I recognize my complete dependence on God to do a very difficult task.  I pledge to do what I can to make those around me successful.  I understand there are minor doctrinal differences that exist between various denominations and groups, and that as a non-denominational organization Camp Icthus’ policy is to defer those areas to the camper’s parents and home church. I am willing to be submissive to the authority of Camp Icthus.  I have considered this matter prayerfully, and desire to commit myself to serve God through this ministry.
