2020 Big Purple Form
1. All students - incoming freshmen, transfer students, and returning students - please complete as much of the following form as possible. Your contact information on record may have changed. Please provide accurate information!

2. If you are a freshman or transfer student and have not received an ACU user name and Banner ID, log on to: www.my.acu.edu/email. Your ACU email address will be your assigned username@acu.edu.

3. Instrument Rental: There is a $50 rental fee per semester for the first instrument rented from ACU; the second instrument rental fee is $35. Sousaphones, trombones, marching horns, percussion and colorguard will use school-owned equipment and be charged an equipment fee of $50. Students are encouraged to provide their own mouthpieces, but if you don't own one we can help you. If you have any questions about mouthpieces, please contact Dr. Houghtalen.

4. Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion members of the Big Purple Marching Band will need a Nike ACU Bands polo shirt (provided for all new members), a 2020 YBP t-shirt, black marching shoes and white gloves. Colorguard will need the colorguard uniform top, 2020 T-shirt, black dance shoes and nude fingerless gloves. Percussionists do not need gloves. NOTE: If you have black marching/dance shoes or gloves in good condition, they may be used in place of ordering new ones.

5. Optional items: Big Purple Nike adjustable baseball cap: this is the ONLY hat that can be worn with your uniform in the stadium. Earplugs: we have secured a discounted rate for Big Purple members for Vibes high-fidelity musician earplugs.

6. All items will be charged to your student account (preferred) or you may pay by cash/check at check-in.

7. Returning students, please bring your YBP water bottle from last year.
