The goal of this event will be to develop and launch an advocacy strategy which builds momentum for further integrating and uplifting WPS and YPS and broader intersectional peace and security efforts into the UN Commission on the Status of Women processes in order to bolster support and awareness. The objectives of this event will be to: 1) identify areas where the advocacy objectives of the CSW and the advocacy objectives of WPS-HA are mutually reinforcing and can leverage their separate strengths to advance a common advocacy agenda; 2) develop an advocacy strategy and roadmap to actualize and support these identified advocacy areas; and 3) solicit and inspire greater support, awareness and partnerships for advancing the developed advocacy strategy and roadmap.
