Far Out at VAULT 2023 - Mentorship Scheme
Far Out, L Squared Theatre's queer sci-fi comedy play, is on at VAULT Festival London February 14-18th 2023. As we have now received ACE funding (!) we are able to put some money towards supporting the mentorship of two emerging theatre-makers. We will be prioritising LGBTQ+ people who may not otherwise have the chance to come to VAULT.

In order to be eligible, you must be:
- over 18 years old as of 1st February 2023
- based in either the Greater Manchester or Brighton area 
- not yet have completed a tertiary level theatre degree of any kind (you are welcome to apply if you are a current student)
- Be available for periods of time (up to 7 days) between the 6th - 18th of February

If accepted, you will receive assistance with travel and accommodation in London up to the value of £500, and a per diem fee of £80/day for other living expenses. 

We will tailor the mentorship to your needs, but you will get a minimum of two 1-1 meetings with the creatives of your choice, a significant chunk of time in the rehearsal room/observing how the show is brought to life, as well as time to yourself to see shows at VAULT and network.

As our ACE funding has only just been approved, we have a tight turnaround- therefore the deadline is February 1st. With this in mind we only require short answers to 3 questions, and some tick-box responses.
