Do you want to make a difference in your community and hang out with other peers who are passionate about Sex-Ed? Look no further! Planned Parenthood's high school Peer Education Program is currently scheduling interviews to become a part of our 2022-2023 cohort. ○ Attend an orientation in August learning about Sex-Ed (Current Peer Educators describe it as "Sex-Ed Summer camp!")
○ Educate peers about sexual health, social issues, relationships, and more
○ Engage in group advocacy activities, like volunteering, fundraising, and meeting with their local legislators
○ Build leadership and communication skills
○ Eligible to receive a stipend at the end of each semester!
○ Meet throughout the year to learn about relevant topics (once a month for PG-13 Players, once a month for
Just Us, and twice a month for FYI).
Additionally, the PG-13 Players in Nashville will:
○ Learn a ton about theater and collaborate to write original skits and monologues about sexual decision making and other issues teens face
○ Perform for various groups and organizations, including both peers and professionals
